LA HONDA – A 16-year-old boy who walked away from a juvenile detention facility in San Mateo County during the night is back in custody.
The teen was discovered missing during a roll call at the Camp Glenwood minimum security center in La Honda at 10:25 p.m. Monday.
A sheriff's spokesman says deputies found the boy hiding in a restroom a few miles away from the facility this morning.
The teenager was booked into the San Mateo County Youth Services Center. His name has not been released.
